Cresta Co-Design
CRESTA has two integrated strands: one focused on enabling a key set of co-design applications for exascale, the other focused on building and exploring appropriate systemware for exascale platforms.
Co-design is at the heart of the proposal. The co-design vehicles are closely integrated to the systemware development, providing guidance and feedback to the systemware development work and to integrating and benefit from this development.
Applications
The applications represented in CRESTA have been chosen as a representative sample from across the supercomputing domain including biomolecular systems, fusion energy, the virtual physiological human, numerical weather prediction and engineering.
SystemWare
We aim to produce an integrated suite of systemware to support the execution of applications at the exascale, addressing the development environment, algorithms and libraries, user tools, and underpinning and cross-cutting technologies.
